What is the Wellness Center?

Terra Linda currently has a Wellness Coordinator, Wellness Program Liason, and four mental health clinicians available to support our students. Our Wellness Center is a calming, physical space where students can seek support on all levels:

  • 10-15 Minute Brain Breaks & Self-Regulation Activities
  • Crisis Response Services
  • 1:1 Mental Health Services
  • Group Therapy
  • Parent and Staff Consulations
  • Case Management
  • Referrals to services in the community
  • Coordination for and provision of classroom psycho-education
  • Coordination and provision of Health & Wellness campaigns including Suicide Prevention, Tobacco/Nicotine/Cannabis Prevention & Education, Digital Wellness, Mental Health, Condom Availability Program, and much more!
  • Coordination of our Student Wellness Advisory Committee (also referred to as SWAP)

How to Access Support

Students can access the Wellness space by requesting a “Brain Break” pass from their teacher if they need a break during class.

There are three different ways to request site-based mental health services.

If you need help, or know someone who might need help, please reach out to a trusted teacher, administrator, or come directly to the Wellness Center.
