College & Career Center: CCC

Carol Morales and Matt Slavin from the CCC

Welcome to the CCC!

Our mission at the College and Career Center is to support Terra Linda students in exploring colleges, universities, majors and careers that will be a good fit. Stop by and see us on the 2nd floor of the Student Commons, or reach out to us via email. We look forward to seeing you!

The CCC can assist with:

  • Exploring colleges/careers/majors
  • Helping you to build and finalize your college list
  • Completing college applications
  • Revising and fine-tune your college essays
  • Searching for scholarships
  • Applying for financial aid in general
  • Helping you to identify internships & volunteer experiences

California Colleges

California Colleges is TL's primary college and career search tool. Once students have registered their accounts, they can log in using their SRCS/Google credentials: Registering your account. Once your account is registered, you can use California Colleges to learn about careers that match your interests and strengths, and search for potential colleges and majors. Seniors can use California Colleges to launch pre-populated applications! See this Playlist for instructional videos.

College Visits & Fairs

Each fall, the CCC hosts dozens of college representatives, who come to TL to talk about the college experience at their institutions, and to meet TL students. Check out our list of upcoming college visits! College visits are a great way to demonstrate interest in a college/university, and to meet the representatives who may very well review your application if you apply!

Seniors

Check out our updated College Application Guide for the class of 2023, and use California Colleges (info below) to research and build your college list. Attend our fall workshops, and check out the Seniors section of the Counseling site for more information.

Internship opportunities

Internships are an excellent way to explore potential careers or fields of study, and can help immensely in terms of distinguishing you as a college applicant. See our Internships page, and reach out to  Mr. Rodas to learn more about internship opportunities: jrodas@marinschools.org
