Clubs & Organizations at Terra Linda High School
Clubs and organizations are an important part of student life at Terra Linda High School. They give students opportunities to connect with others who share their interests, explore new activities, serve their community, develop leadership skills, and contribute to the culture of TLHS.
Clubs vs. Organizations
Student Clubs are student-created and student-led groups centered around a shared interest, activity, culture, cause, or hobby. Clubs must have an approved TLHS staff advisor and follow school and ASB guidelines in order to operate on campus.
Student Organizations are established groups that are connected to a larger program, curriculum, national organization, or ongoing school function. Organizations may have additional requirements, governing structures, or responsibilities beyond those of a traditional student club.
Both clubs and organizations are an important part of the TLHS community and are expected to operate in accordance with school, district, ASB, and applicable FCMAT guidelines.
How Clubs Operate at TLHS
Clubs are student-driven. Students are responsible for organizing meetings, communicating with members, maintaining meeting minutes, planning activities, and working closely with their staff advisor. Clubs wishing to fundraise, spend money, collect donations, host events, or conduct other financial activities must follow TLHS ASB procedures and receive the appropriate approvals before taking action.
Clubs must remain active and in good standing throughout the school year. This includes holding meetings, keeping accurate minutes, maintaining communication with their advisor and ASB, and following all campus procedures.
Inter-Club Council
The Interact Club Commissioner for the 2026–2027 school year is Piper Stewart ps44000@srcs.org. Club inquiries should be directed to Piper, and clubs should share their meeting minutes with her so ASB can maintain communication and records for active clubs and organizations and remain in compliance with FCMAT.
2026–2027 Club Timeline
The New & Continuing Club Informational Meeting was held on September 9, with club applications due September 18.
Approved clubs will attend a Club Rush Preparation Meeting on October 1 to review expectations and prepare to table. Club advisors will meet on October 2 to review advisor responsibilities and ensure they are prepared to support their club's activities and commitments throughout the school year.
Club Rush will be held during lunch on October 14. This is an opportunity for all Terra Linda High School students to visit club and organization tables, learn about the many ways to get involved on campus, meet student leaders, and sign up for groups that interest them.
Whether you are interested in service, culture, academics, advocacy, hobbies, competition, or simply finding a community on campus, there is a place for you to get involved at TLHS!
