We are Trojan Nation!

At Terra Linda High School, athletics are an essential part of the Trojan experience and an integral component of our educational program. We believe that participation in sports fosters a positive school climate while promoting the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

Our athletic programs are designed to meet the diverse interests and abilities of our student body, encouraging broad participation within our available financial and personnel resources. Participation in athletics is a privilege for students who voluntarily accept the rules, and expectations outlined by our program—standards that are the responsibility of admiinistration, coaches, parents, and athletes on a year-round basis.

We believe success comes from a balanced pursuit of athletic excellence, academic achievement, and personal growth. Through sports, our student-athletes learn lifelong values of discipline, respect, and perseverance that carry to the classroom, field, court, pool, track, and beyond.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our coaches, teachers, administrators, and the many volunteers who make game days possible. Above all, our success begins at home—with the support and commitment of our Trojan families.

    INTEREST FORM

  • We are committed to helping athletes succeed both on the field and in the classroom. To stay eligible, athletes must maintain a 2.0 or better, as of the designated grading period (not progress reports) and have no more than one F. If an athlete is below a 2.0 the athletic department reviews grades from the prior grading period for compliance. If compliant, the athlete is placed on probation, otherwise they will be ineligible to play until grades are assessed at the next grading period. If an athlete has two or more Fs at the end of a grading period, they become immediately ineligible. Ineligible players are allowed to practice with the team, at coach’s discretion. The grading periods for 2025-26 are below.

  • SRCSHD and MCAL have adopted the 16 Principles of Pursuing Victor with Honor” Coaches, players and fans are expected to and held accountable for representing their school with dignity and class. Anyone (athlete, student or adult) not conducting themselves in a positive manner may be ejected from an event and/or suspended from future events. More resources below:

  • TRANSPORTATION FOR ATHLETICS:

Students with a valid California Driver's License may drive themselves within Marin county lines. If the game site is out of county lines a parent/guardian must drive. Students and/or their parents will be expected to assume responsibility and make their own arrangments for transportation to practices and contests. The school district will occasionally be able to provide transportation for North Coast Section and CIF playoff games.

  • MCAL and NCS rules require athletes to have current physicals on file, submitted through your Arbiter registration. See our Athlete Registration page for more information. If you or your family does not have health insurance, physicals can be scheduled at the Health & Human Services, 120 N Redwood Highway, San Rafael. Phone: 415-473-3460

  • Terra Linda is proud to partner with Classic Photography for our team and individual sports photos. See the schedule and ordering information below for the current season. If you miss the order deadline, we recommend having your student athlete ask to get their individual photo taken at the session – that way you may be able to order prints at a later date. If you have questions about a prior season photo, please reach out to Darla Aaron directly at darla@classicphotonapa.com
