We are Trojan Nation!

At Terra Linda High School, athletics are an essential part of the Trojan experience and an integral component of our educational program. We believe that participation in sports fosters a positive school climate while promoting the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our students.

Our athletic programs are designed to meet the diverse interests and abilities of our student body, encouraging broad participation within our available financial and personnel resources. Participation in athletics is a privilege for students who voluntarily accept the rules, and expectations outlined by our program—standards that are the responsibility of admiinistration, coaches, parents, and athletes on a year-round basis.

We believe success comes from a balanced pursuit of athletic excellence, academic achievement, and personal growth. Through sports, our student-athletes learn lifelong values of discipline, respect, and perseverance that carry to the classroom, field, court, pool, track, and beyond.

None of this would be possible without the dedication of our coaches, teachers, administrators, and the many volunteers who make game days possible. Above all, our success begins at home—with the support and commitment of our Trojan families.

  • We are committed to helping athletes succeed both on the field and in the classroom. To stay eligible, athletes must maintain a 2.0 or better, as of the designated grading period (not progress reports) and have no more than one F. If an athlete is below a 2.0, the athletic department reviews grades from the prior grading period for compliance. If compliant in the prior grading period, the athlete is placed on probation, otherwise they will be ineligible to play until grades are assessed at the next grading period. If an athlete has two or more Fs at the end of a grading period, they become immediately ineligible. Ineligible players are allowed to practice with the team, at coach’s discretion. The grading periods for 2026-27 are below.

  • SRCSHD and MCAL have adopted the 16 Principles of Pursuing Victor with Honor” Coaches, players and fans are expected to and held accountable for representing their school with dignity and class. Anyone (athlete, student or adult) not conducting themselves in a positive manner may be ejected from an event and/or suspended from future events. More resources below:

  • TRANSPORTATION FOR ATHLETICS:

Students with a valid California Driver's License may drive themselves within Marin county lines. If the game site is out of county lines a parent/guardian must drive. Students and/or their parents will be expected to assume responsibility and make their own arrangments for transportation to practices and contests. The school district will occasionally be able to provide transportation for North Coast Section and CIF playoff games.

  • MCAL and NCS rules require athletes to have current physicals on file, submitted through your Arbiter registration. See our Athlete Registration page for more information. If you or your family does not have health insurance, physicals can be scheduled at the Health & Human Services, 120 N Redwood Highway, San Rafael. Phone: 415-473-3460

TIPS For Obtaining a Physical Clearance Form
    1. Some doctors will sign the form without an appointment—ask your provider.
    2. If you have an upcoming appointment, ask if your doctor can sign a limited release until then.
    3. When scheduling, request a sports physical (shorter than a full physical and often easier to book).
    4. Kaiser patients: Even if you only get a physical every two years, you still need a signed form. You can often request this by messaging the doctor or by calling the appointment line.
    5. You can also call Dr Kaklias 415-499-8469 to get a sports physical ($25) He has provided many physical forms for TL students.

  • Follow your favorite Trojan teams, check scores, see rosters, league results.
