Work Permits and Jobs:

Students who are at least 15: life guard training available, as well as for 16-year-olds, many local businesses, such as Macy's, Sol Food, Lego Playwell Activities Leaders and Kumon, needing a Reading Assistant, are hiring. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and clear any current Ds or Fs to be eligible to work during the school year. Come to the CCC to pick up the Work Permit Application. When school is not in session, ask Mrs. Tremolada at the front office.

Summer Horsemanship Camp Interns Needed!  Halleck Creek Summer Horsemanship Camp Interns Needed!

Volunteers build leadership skills by helping disabled children feel the connection to horses during week-long summer camps for special riders and their siblings. Volunteers ages 14-18 are invited to apply for one, or more, of  the five-weeks of summer camp internships. Interested in starting a career in the construction trades?  Rising Sun offers free training and preparation for entry into Union Apprenticeships and careers in construction.  Our nights and weekends class offers working individuals the flexibility to transition into a new career for 18-year-olds.  We offer construciton classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 - 8:00 pm and Saturdays from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.  Spots are filling up fast!
