COLLEGE APPLICATION WORKSHOPS
Seniors! Huckleberry and COM will be hosting ALL-COLLEGE Application Workshops, Wednesday, November 14 at tutorial. They will be here to assist you in finishing up your college applications and/or financial aid. Seniors, please get your tutorial pass signed. Sign-up in the CCC!
 

THE NORTH BAY CONSTRUCTION CORPS 

Current seniors interested in engineering, architecture, construction and construction management, we have an exciting opportunity for you in the Spring Semester. The North Bay Construction Corps is free for high school students, who can learn valuable industry skills and receive a stipend at the completion of the Construction program. Deadline to apply is November 30th.  Interviews will be on December 15th. Flyers to come out soon. Check with Ms. Nunez for details.
 

NATIONAL ACT OR SAT PRACTICE WEEKEND

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITiES
 

Day of Thanks Environmental Service event, celebrates our parks by restoring habitat at the Bothin Marsh Preserve. Meet at the end of Sycamore Ave at the multi-use pathway in Mill Valley. Register at onetam.org/calendar.
 

 

San Rafael Elks Scholarship

The San Rafael Elks Lodge kicks off the 2019 Most Valuable Student Scholarship Contest! This scholarship is for students pursuing a 4 year degree, full-time, in a US college or university.  Any high school senior who is a US citizen is eligible to apply.  Applicants need not be related to a member of the Elks, and will be judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need.  Due November 15th.  Information in the CCC.

 

 

Work Permits and Jobs:

Students, who are at least 15: life guard training available, as well as for 16-year-olds, many local businesses, such as Sol Food, Lego Playwell Activities Leaders and Kumon, needing a Reading Assistant, are hiring. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 and clear any current Ds or Fs to be eligible to work during the school year. Come to the CCC to pick up the Work Permit Application, as well as to have Ms. Nichols issue your work permit. When school is not in session, ask Mrs. Tremolada at the front office.
