Updated Athletic Participation form

The updated Athletic Participation form must be completed, signed, and returned to the Athletic Office for students trying out and participating in Sports.

Medical: Per CIF rules, an athlete must have a current physical on file (dated by physical after July 1, 2017).  If you have had a physical during the 2016-2017 year, the physical must sign a new medical release form.

Athletes with Kaiser Medical Insurance:  Per CIF rules, a medical clearance is valid for one year from the date of the exam.  Kaiser medical exams are given every two (2) years.  This has caused confusion.  Between exams, ask to have the Kaiser physician provide a current date next to his/her signature so the medical clearance will be acceptable.  With the Kaiser medical clearances, the date of the physician’s signature will be used to determine the length of validity of the medical clearance.

Heads Up Concussion Information Video

HEADS UP Concussion Course Video.JPG

By taking this free, online course and using what you learn, you will be well positioned to improve the culture of concussion. Your actions can help create a safe environment for young athletes so that they can stay healthy, active, and thrive - both on and off the playing field.

Once you complete the training and quiz, you can print out a certificate, making it easy to show your league or school you are ready for the season.

InstaTeam: Stay informed & connected

What is InstaTeam?  InstaTeam is a new team communication and engagement app that helps coaches, parents & players to access updated information, instantly communicate with the team and receive reminders and notifications for team events. InstaTeam is currently being used by many athletic teams in various schools; players and parents find it easy, fast and convenient.

Benefits of Using InstaTeam:

  • Steamlines communication, coordination & scheduling for parents/guardians, coaches, faculty & the athletic department.

  • Single place to view team calendar; multiple teams can be viewed at the same time.

  • Instant notifications are sent if there is change to the schedule.

  • Direct team and individual communication can take place, which allows for all members of the team to be informed.

Terra Linda Athletics Department uses InstaTeam for scheduling of games, practices and more.  While individual sports schedules can still be found on on the Website on, InstaTeam ensures parents and players receive push notifications about changes to schedules, directions to games, early dismissal times, etc.

Visit the InstaTeam page for information on how to set up an account!
